A Photographer Shaped by These Islands
Twelve years ago, Ainsworth arrived in Turks and Caicos and never left. These islands shaped his craft, his eye, and his understanding of what makes a photograph worth keeping.
Arriving in Turks and Caicos
Ainsworth came to Providenciales over a decade ago and quickly fell in love with the islands — the light, the ocean, the pace of life, and the steady stream of people arriving to celebrate the moments that matter most to them. What started as a new chapter became home. That depth of time here is something no visiting photographer can replicate.
Years with Sandals & Beaches Resorts
Working as a photographer for Sandals and Beaches Resorts gave Ainsworth an extraordinary education. Photographing thousands of guests from dozens of countries — couples on honeymoon, families on holiday, travellers celebrating milestones — taught him how to work fast, build rapport instantly, and find the genuine moment in almost any situation. It also gave him an intimate knowledge of every corner of Providenciales worth photographing.
Launching Klix Photography
Klix Photography was built on everything those years taught him — the technical precision, the ability to work in TCI's demanding light conditions, and above all, the understanding that the best photographs come from clients who feel relaxed and genuinely themselves. When you book a session with Klix, you're not getting a photographer who arrived on the island last season. You're getting someone who has spent over a decade learning every beach, every light condition, and every hidden corner these islands have to offer.
Every Client, Every Moment
Today, Klix Photography serves visitors and residents across Turks and Caicos — from surprise proposals on Grace Bay Beach to maternity sessions at Chalk Sound, family portraits at sunset, and wedding days along the turquoise shoreline. Every session is approached with the same commitment: make the experience feel effortless, and produce images that outlast the trip.
